An infrared sauna uses infrared light to heat the body directly, unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you. This method provides a deeper, more penetrating warmth that can help detoxify the body, relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve circulation.

How long should I stay in an infrared sauna?

For optimal benefits, we recommend sessions ranging from 20 to 45 minutes. If you’re new to infrared saunas, start with shorter sessions and gradually increase your time as your body adjusts.

What should I wear in the sauna?

To maximize the benefits of infrared heat, wear as little as possible. A swimsuit or workout clothes are suitable options, but many of our clients prefer to go in with just a towel.

Can I bring a friend to my sauna session?

Absolutely! Some of our saunas can accommodate up to 3 people making it a perfect wellness activity to share with friends or enjoy solo. Make sure to book the Sanctuary sauna for 2 people. It’s a great way to relax and catch up, or simply enjoy the silence and meditate together.

Is there anything I should do to prepare for my session?

Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water before and after your sauna session to help your body detoxify efficiently. We also recommend not eating a heavy meal immediately before going into the sauna. Electrolytes are helpful; we sell them in our office to support optimal hydration during your wellness journey.

Can I use the sauna if I have medical conditions?

If you have cardiovascular issues, skin disorders, or any other serious health conditions, it is best to consult with your doctor before using an infrared sauna.

What can I do during my sauna session?

Our sauna sessions are your time to relax and unwind. Feel free to simply relax, meditate, listen to a podcast, read, or even practice dry brushing. Make the most of this time to rejuvenate your body and mind.

How often should I schedule sessions for optimal results?

Regular use can provide the most significant health benefits. Depending on your health and wellness goals, sessions 1-3 times a week can be very effective.
